Fire Risk Assessment

In October 2006 there was a major legislation change in relation to fire safety in the work place. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) replaced over 70 pieces of fire safety law and applies to all non-domestic premises in England and Wales.


Fire certificates are now a thing of the past, and the onus is on the employer to ensure that fire risk assessments are completed and reviewed regularly.
